“For Some Freedom Is Just A Word” is my latest typographic work for the “Libertas” Exhibition by Amnesty International that took place at Farbenladen, Munich from 3rd to 6th of May 2012. It deals with various definitions of freedom and the corresponding meanings.

océ and man roland engaged me to draw 8 posters they can produce as show pieces on their printing machines. based on the quote “In the end, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away” (shing xiong) I developed an illustrative style combined with analogue textures.

SYMBOL POSTERS

The reduction on the essential creates unique identity. this work deals with basic geometric shapes, landscapes and textures. Out of this emerged a poster series that explores the associative force of newly designed symbols.
